Mr. Manish Poddar is a graduate of Calcutta University and the son of Mr. Ashok Kumar Poddar. He joined Budge Budge Company Limited in 1995 at the age of 24.
He has extensive experience in the jute and tea industries and has played an important role in the development of the Group's businesses.
Under his leadership, Budge Budge Jute Mill was developed into a profitable operating unit. His responsibilities have also extended to the Group's diversification into real estate, including residential and commercial projects.
Mr. Poddar has also served as Chairman of the Indian Jute Mills Association (IJMA), the representative body of jute mills.
Director
Mr. Danveer Singhi is a graduate of Calcutta University and a Company Secretary by profession. He has extensive professional experience spanning the jute, tea and construction industries.
His professional experience includes exposure to banking, accounts and secretarial functions, providing a broad administrative and corporate perspective to the Group's operations.
The Group's management combines longstanding experience in traditional industries with an approach focused on business development and diversification across its operating sectors.
